Canne Aventurina and Murrine – Blue vase

Murano glass vase blown into the barrel, opened and hand modeled in the furnace by our glass masters according to the traditional techniques of the island.

The vase is made on a transparent glass base and is decorated with a plate composition of assorted colored reeds, Aventurine (glass characterized by the presence of brilliant specks made up of tiny metallic copper crystals) and the famous Murrine Millefiori (small miniature mosaics representing mainly flowers). The decoration is previously carefully prepared by the artist himself, choosing and cutting every single element to the right size for the vase’s workmanship. The processing of the vase is then completed by adding a band of colored glass to the edge.

The piece is signed by the artist with glass engraving.
