Kandinsky – Heavenly vase # 4

Murano glass vase blown into the barrel, opened and hand modeled in the furnace by our glass masters according to the traditional techniques of the island.

The work is a tribute to the famous Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky. It is made on a colored glass base, it is then wrapped in a silver leaf that embellishes its value and appearance and finally it is decorated with colored glass threads and Murrine Millefiori (small miniature mosaics mainly representing flowers). The decoration is previously carefully prepared by the artist himself, choosing and cutting every single element to the right size for the vase’s workmanship.
